CAA records allow you to determine which Certificate Authorities can and can’t issue SSL certificates for your website. It’s a useful tool in fighting mis-issuances. Though it’s not mandatory for end-users, we highly recommend taking the five minutes required to add a CAA record to your DNS.

In the Record Editor, click Add and select CAA

Select the Provider tab

Enter the appropriate CAA information
- Name – Type @ to point directly to your domain name
- Flags – Enter the number 0
- Tag – Type Issue if you want to enable Wildcard certificates for this domain
- Value – Enter the value of the CAs you would like to enable
- TTL – Leave a default of 1 hour

Click Add Record

In Record Editor, find the record you want to change and click the small pencil icon below it

Update the information
