- Log in to your cPanel.
- Go to the Files section and click on the FTP Accounts menu.
- Enter the necessary information in the required fields.
- Login: Enter your username for the FTP account.
- Domain: Enter your domain name.
- Password: You should enter a strong and secure password for your FTP account.
- Password (again): Enter the same password.
- Strength: This field tells you how secure your password is. Strength levels range from Very Weak to Very Strong.
- Directory: cPanel will auto-populate an assumed directory based on the FTP username, but that is normally incorrect. So, we recommend providing the directory you would like the user to access.
- Quota: You can give a number for the disk space to be assigned for an FTP user or set it to Unlimited.
- Click Create FTP Account.
